Dr. Tawfeeq is a Consultant Radiologist at Portsmouth University Hospitals NHS Trust with sub-specialty experience in all aspects of breast imaging (mammography, ultrasound, MRI) and Gynae-Oncology imaging, including specialty-specific image-guided procedures. A fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and an active member of the British Society of Breast Radiology, Dr. Tawfeeq delivers high-standard symptomatic and breast cancer screening services.
After completing her medical training at the University of Jordan, Dr. Tawfeeq obtained her master’s in public health and primary pare from King’s College University in 2015 and began her tenure in the NHS. She underwent specialist postgraduate training in diagnostic radiology at Portsmouth University Hospitals, including subspecialty training at Aintree University, King’s College, and General Southampton Hospitals, followed by a fellowship at the Royal Marsden NHS Trust focusing on breast and gynae-oncology imaging.. Additionally, Dr. Tawfeeq completed a mini fellowship at the Jarvis Breast Screening Centre in Guildford, achieving advanced level-2 training in mammogram screen-reading and assessment, underscoring her dedication to excellence in breast imaging.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tawfeeq has been commended not only for her medical expertise but also for her exceptional kindness, compassion, and impressive skills, garnering admiration from both patients and colleagues.
