What is included?

6-7 weeks – Dr Tezcan will conduct an early pregnancy assessment to confirm viability, gestational age and to diagnose multiple pregnancies. 

10 weeks – Viability Scan with Dr Tezcan prior to NIPT test of your choice (either Illumina and Panorama) to test for Down’s Syndrome, Patau’s Syndrome and Edward’s Syndrome +/- sex chromosome abnormalities/ microdeletions and Di-George Syndrome 

11-13 weeks – Nuchal Translucency Scan with Dr Tezcan to assess for major structural abnormalities and risk assessment for chromosomal and genetic abnormalities. 

16 weeks – Review of your pregnancy after initial assessments and Early anomaly Scan to diagnose major structural anomalies early which will give you early reassurance and the opportunity to act earlier in the pregnancy if any concerns. 

18-20 weeks – Anomaly Scan to check the physical development of the baby. Cervical length measurement to assess your risk of preterm birth. 

24 weeks – Dr Tezcan will conduct an antenatal check including blood pressure, urine check and assessing the health of your baby with an ultrasound scan. The scan will assess the growth of the baby and the function of the placenta. 

28 weeks – At this appointment, we will carry out a full antenatal check, and also conduct blood and/or glucose tests with Fetal wellbeing Scan with Dr Tezcan 

32 weeks – This appointment will be spent monitoring you and your baby’s development and beginning to prepare for birth 

34 weeks – You will discuss your birth plan with Dr Tezcan, pain relief options and any concerns you may have ahead of delivery 

36-40 weeks – During these appointments we will closely monitor you and your baby paying close attention to the position of baby and placental function with the assessment of baby’s growth and amniotic fluid.

6 weeks postnatal – At your last appointment we will review your recovery and discuss contraception and a cervical smear, if yours is due.
